NMNA. I'm betting this won't last the day.

1972 Porsche 914 project car. Have parts enough to probably build two. Remanufactured 2.0l GEX engine with counterweighted crank, align bored and port & polish (0 miles). Complete set of 4 Fuchs alloys (NOT repro's) 3 Empi racing split rims (NOT repro's). Tons of other parts. Clear title. Neck injury prevents me working on it..
Chrome bumpers!
edit: Someone on here needs to buy this!
Just the Reman 2.0 has got to be almost worth that. ('72 came with a 1.7?). But if someone buys it for parts, I'd be interested in the bumpers.

Dad and I need a windshield, right wing vent, steering wheel, dash
Could probably get away with an aftermarket steering wheel, but Dad likes originality.

I still miss my 914 even after 40+ years. I think the 2.0 was an option in '72, (mine was a '74 2.0). :)
If (IF) this is relatively rust-free it's quite the bargain.
Pending and not to me. I already have a 914 project and no time for it.
It was pending within 4 hours of the ad posting. Tough to tell but looks really solid from the picts.
Honestly the Fuchs would allow the ability to break even, even not better, before even starting on moving the fresh engine.
Crust would not be a concern with regards to value.
Well I stuck with this one, staying in touch with him as he works evenings. It needed to be dug (literally) out of the shop, but was in fact as described. Dirty, but preserved as it has been in the garage since 1993. Rust is very minimal, hell hole frame rail is not an issue, new battery box and brackets need to be welded in, but really solid car that was originally Alaska Blue. The GEX rebuilt engine was built with some performance mods, so now 2.1 litre and has never been fired. Car also came with dual Delortos as well as the original fuel injection system. It does need a windshield, but there are enough spares to resell to make this basically free before I get started on the restoration. Fuchs are in excellent condition.
I dropped this off at my painter on Saturday, this one will be restored. I'll post some pictures.

Congratulations on your purchase! Pictures and updates at some point would be appreciated!
My enabling worked? Giggity!
Yes, definitely. This did not come up in my local searches, but your link was the ticket, so thanks!
Really excited to see you get this! Some days my FBM feed just gives me gems. If I hadn't been in the PA mountains the past 6 weeks I would have never see no this.
Looking forward to project updates. Build thread possible?
Teaser picture of the engine, dirty, but definitely new. He put some old plugs in it to keep the dirt out and installed the oil cooler, but the core engine and heads are rebuilt. I looked down the intake and exhaust ports and see shiny new valves, pushrod tubes and seals. I'll clean it up, detail it and rebuild the carbs and ignition and this should be a nice start to the project.

Its such a shame you have to cover them up with the ducting to get them to perform properly.
Once you catalog the spares, I'd be interested in any of the ones I mentioned above that you may have.
It really was a steal, build thread started
