1985 Toyota MR-2 NMNA under $2000

Marketplace ad. Runs, has oil leak. Clutch slips at high rpm's. Includes new clutch uninstalled. Not pretty, so perfect for GRM?

Anyone happen to be near this car?  It's in Springfield MO area.  As I've posted in a different thread, I've got an AW11 MR2 meant for Lemons.  It needs a heart transplant and I'm on the prowl for good 4AGE motors.  We have one possible source from a GRM member, but that engine is sort of an unknown.  If we can verify this one runs well...  We're doing a parking lot build at the GRM Challenge.

To my knowledge, not as a plug and play.  The first gen MR2 used an engine that was exclusive to the MR2 and a few oddball Corolla models in the late 80s.  They're getting hard to find.  Other engines can swap in, but require fabrication, etc...  Since I'm not a mechanic and am relying on the good folks at GRM to help, we want to do plug and play.

I wish it was close enough for me to look at it.

No, MrJoshua has one.  I just know the 4AGE is hard to find, so I wouldn't mind an extra
