Before we start, I wanted to let you all know that GRM is the only car mag I still subscribe to and I love this forum. I know high priced E30's may not be in the spririt of the forums, but I've got to take what I can get. With the corvette in the garage there just isn't enough room for this car anymore which is a shame. I plan to put this on eBay and possibly BAT soon.

For sale is my 1987 BMW E30 325is. The car is located in Charlotte and has a clean and clear title in my hand. The only reason I’m selling it is because I have too many project cars at the time.

I’d consider this car as an “original driver” The paint is original with all of its various battle scars, but overall in decent shape. I’ve tried to picture all of the marks of note. There is fairly heavy oxidation on the roof and hood as you can see from the pictures. The interior is in original shape, but the leather is dried and cracking in places. Everything on the interior works. OBC, check panel, sunroof, and gauges. Suspension is mostly new and drives very tightly. Engine runs as it should and is the original M20. Tires are Nexens but in good condition on the original basket weaves.

Lots of receipts will be included as well as the original radio.

Most importantly there is zero rust in the car.

General Condition

Issues

  • Drivers side window goes up and down, but the regulator is beginning to wear out. It will “click” as it goes up. Doesn’t affect sealing.
  • Oil pan gasket is weeping, but not dripping.
  • Original splash guard for the front of the car is damaged but included.
  • The stereo bezel trim is cracked. (Photos)
  • The AC does not work, I simply haven’t prioritized it. It’s all there, just needs diagnosing. The components appear to be original.
  • Fog lights are cracked, but working.

Little update.

The battery gave up the ghost so it has a brand new, correct size battery.

I replaced the passenger side seat trim piece.

Updated the price to be more realistic. Now that I have those little pieces fixed I'll likely take some new photos and out it up BAT soon. They've accepted the post I just have to get my ducks in a row.
