1987 Porsche 944 Turbo, a bit over 140K miles, excellent shape. 5sp manual, located in southern Dayton OH. I bought the car almost exactly a year ago, looking for the "next big thing" & expecting another MR2 really, but I saw this in Cincinnati and couldn't pass it up.
The "turbo" emblem was replaced after this photo.
Lots of little things like Rennline bits and pieces, I added LEDs here and there to modernize it a bit, including the headlights from 944Only.
3" binder of full documentatiion back to 1987 including delivery information and photos of the original owner in Germany with the car and on the Autobahn.
I knew I would forget things so I saved the seller's information on Marketplace. Add onto this two trips to Porsche specialist garages for quite a few things like new air-oil separator, balance shaft adjustment, and more. My build thread has more information.
My build thread and adventures here...
That RS wing is still in the box and goes with the car along with other parts like another air-oil separator, original corner windows, OEM shifter, old radio (forget the brand), ...
With the purchase of the Celica race car, and impending re-purchase of my old WRX, I can't park 5 cars. Of all of them, believe it or not, this is the one I'm least invested in (emotionally anyway lol).
SWMBO said I should list it for $25K to the general public, see where it goes. For friends and GRM types, I will make a much better deal. $20K
