Bump.
Car is back up for sale after having to replace the ECU. Funny thing is that I put it back on Craigslist after letting the ad expire and had 5 people text me begging to come look at it. Hopefully something pans out.
Sold this today. Would say I'm happy about it, but after nearly 4 months of dealing with the absolute worst people in the world, I'm mostly deflated.
Good guy bought the car today. He was a Honda guy. He was surprised by the torque.
Congrats! Don't listen to me and buy on my recommendation ever again!
If it makes you feel better, dude i got the Miata from said he had over 50 inquiries since posted for sale in October.
People suck.
In reply to Swank Force One:
Haha. I think your recommendation was solid. The F2t is something of legend. The chassis not so much.

It'll happen. You need a ride in my car though, haha!

No, he needs to ride in a blue miata with an f2t in it.....

It's already back on CL! Double what he paid for it, but if he can sell it for that price, more power to him. Looks like he was able to get it through inspection.
Wasn't it already chipped when you sold it?
Also... 17psi on stock turbo. That'll last at least 100 miles.
No because of the ECU fiasco and the no start issue I had. It does look like he took care of a few things that needed fixin'. New head unit, new vac lines, new couplers. I never said anything about the engine being rebuilt. Had no documentation of that. He may of found something in the paperwork I gave him to suggest otherwise.
He said "Supposedly." He doesn't have documentation. He's just a sleazy dude trying to make a quick buck.
Unfortunately he's drastically overestimating how cheap MX6 fanbois are.
He's basically priced it at what a turbo Honda of this era and condition would sell for. He doesn't realize that these cars DO NOT pull a swag tax.
