Here's a little history. There were about 33,600 Beat models made between 1991 and 1996, and all were powered by a mid-mounted 63-horsepower 656 cc 3-cylinder engine. The Beat was the only one of the sporty kei-cars to not be turbocharged, instead using individual throttle bodies and Honda's high RPM know-how to squeeze the same amount of power as the other guys. The Honda Beat is a rear wheel drive, mid-engined two-seat roadster kei car produced from May 1991 to February 1996. The Beat was the last car to be approved by Soichiro Honda before he died in 1991. The total number of cars produced was around 33,600. Engine:656 cc (40.0 cu in) E07A MTREC I3 Curb weight:1,675 lb (760 kg) Transmission:5-speed manual

Yes yes, I know it’s a different car, bet the sentiment is the same.
I was out getting ice cream with the kids and guess what pulled up?
The best part is that this is NOT the car I linked for sale above. Apparently this one was brought in through an importer in Virginia for under $5k out the door.

Under 5K out the door???!! Qoq thanks for that,, off to the internet
Japanese classics in RVA had a few in the $5-7k window.
Duncan imports has a good number listed starting at 7k

Wow, even a mint low mileage (16k) one is only $13k. Jokers ask more than that for similar Miatas.
