I would so rock one of those.
I wonder how well the AC works in those Japanese market cars. I've seen them but never rode in one in the summertime.

I'm pretty sure a decent compressor would stall the engine. Just open the windows 
Rover-era Minis are not the best. If the transmission hasn't been rebuilt yet, it will need to be. The idler gears (and others) require a lot of setup with the proper shims, and by the time this one was made Rover didn't bother. But they're seriously, seriously fun to drive.
