I found a well kept and maintained BMW a few years ago and spent some time turning it into a reliable, capable track day car. Unfortunately it just doesn't get used the way it should be and its time for someone else to enjoy it. The second owner had it for about 15 years and spared no expense keeping it in good order, then I just layered on brake, suspension, and reliability upgrades to make it fun on track. The paint and interior are not perfect, but better than most 30 year old BMWs with disintegrating seats and door panels. No rust to speak of under the car, one small leak from the transmission output shaft flange. Its fun to drive and makes good noises from the exhaust if you are a fan of inline sixes.
