Mine, 100% affiliated. Price is $1300 firm for a GRMer.

Why am I selling it? It turns out I 100% don't want a Z28 with 1994 automatic transmission technology.
This is a PROJECT, not a driver, even if it does move under its own power.

Clean title
No rust
Automatic
Doesn't need Optispark work at the minute.
Needs paint, a dash cover and a bunch of other things.
When I bought it, it wouldn't pass inspection because it needed a multi function switch, which I replaced, and now it passes inspection. It runs, stops and turns, but it has a massive intake leak (duct tape on intake in pic), so it stumbles if you stomp on the gas when it's in closed loop operation.
updated price, moderator bump
Bump.
The GRM price is $1300.
Extra bump
Someone around here has to want some swoopy GM V8 goodness, right?
that looks like death cart, drift missile, track car fodder....

I once had a tuner tell me he got an otherwise stock LT1 to 500 hp with just headers, a cam, and a tune. Is that even possible?
That's a parking lot build right there
If it was $700 less, it would be on the way to my house as a drivetrain donor. Lt1 was the best truck sbc they ever made.

I told my wife I was going to pick it up on the way to the challenge this year. She said, "your not going so I'm not sure how that's going to work."
but I even have the nitrous and Hoosiers ready to go
It was going to be my Challenge car but:
1. I'm not going to the Challenge this year, either
2. I've no interest in keeping it after the Challenge, because Automatic. If it was a green six speed, I'd be working on it.
I really do have to get it running during closed loop so I can sell it as a driver. I don't want to spend a day chasing vac leaks, though.

About 5 million 350 Chevy small blocks disagree.
This is how it was a little bit ago. I've not done anything else to it. It is plated and insured at the moment, too.
You can hear it bog a bit when I was doing the U-Turn in the parking lot- I gave it a bit of extra throttle.
I might get a new video.
(edit: Ugh, it felt like I was doing complete stops in the car, the video shows me stopping for like 1/4 second. The suspension is worn.)
Yeah, someone jump on this for parking lot build radwood goodness!
As I sit here in Kings Mountain, NC - "working from home" the past 6 months - I look at this and think "I need to buy it - get it to the NC meet up - bring lots of parts - have the crew do all the work". Seems like a good plan for me. LOL.
Then, I realize I haven't left KM in 6 months - and - the meet up is tomorrow....
Yes, I can dream.
Hmmmmm..........

You arent the only one who spends time sitting in the garage on a bucket drinking a beer while the baby naps...
Soon, we will have our own pit crews though, so it works out. (at least, thats what I tell myself)
In reply to legendscar95 :
There's going to be another meet up in Siler City eventually.
So true - and - like others I'm shocked this is still here. Running, driving, cool V8 - tons of freedom for not a ton of cash.
Would make a great winter project. Sigh. So close yet so far!
I like these, but then I remember half the engine is under the dashboard. And that Camaros are one of the few cars my wife is unwilling to even ride in.
In reply to legendscar95 :
If you really need a project, delivery is not impossible.

I'll even volunteer to help somehow!

I really think that redoing the front of these to reduce the overhang the nose has would make it a better car.
I've started fixing it. If it runs well after this $50 intake hose, well...
I'm a little biased, but I love these things - surprised you still have it at that price.

I like to think me asking 4,581 questions about a running/driving $1300 Z28 caused you to rethink!!! :).
Make sure you con somebody else into changing the plugs/wires if you get that far. Tell them it's good "car experience".
SOLD! Legendscar95 wanted a project, and now he's got one.
I'll be delivering it to his place down in King's Mountain, most likely on 10/24. If anybody needs something taken from Raleigh to CLT, I'll have a mostly empty 4Runner headed that way.
