All good. All said and done I knew it was a $500 car and wasn't expecting much out of it. Just wanted to hit a few rally crosses and thrash something I didn't care about lol. Let's say I've lost a lot more than $500 on other cars I've bought! 
 

Also, dculberson offered to buy it back and was great to deal with.  But that wouldn't be right so I'll eat the cost and try again sometime! 

OK, now that it has donned on me - someone can have this for free if they want to pay my Aamco towing/check bill (~$150). 

Catch is, you need to come pick it up today at the Aamco in columbus (I can get the address), and you can't just turn around and scrap it for $ lol. I would like to see something cool or useful done with it. The diagnosis from Aamco was a blown transmission, and I personally don't have enough time/drive to pull it and replace it for a cheap car that I have no connection too, if that makes sense.

LS swap.  There, i said it.  If you can tig, shorten the 6 cyl oil pan and the turbo 5s from 850/s70s mate to the trans, but thats the part it needs so.....
