I've had this car for about 2 years. I didn't build this, but it was built with all the parts I would want, and it's a blast to drive!
It accelerates like nothing I have ever driven...it's a very visceral ride.
I wanted an NB like this for a long time, but it really doesn't fit my life right now. I've got grandkids- I want a back seat. And I'm not 35 any more. It's low enough to the ground that it is difficult for me to get in and out of (I hate getting old!). I need a car with a more upright seating position.
2000 Mazda Miata NB Turbo. It's wearing an older Flyin Miata FM2 kit with a GT2560 turbo.
Hardtop, plus an excellent condition soft top. Like new leather interior, power windows, A/C, aftermarket radio with GPS. 137,154 miles. Dyno tested after the build about 4 years ago. 236hp 230 lb/ft with the A/C on and passed obd inspection. This car is NOT a 100%er, but it's darned good. Needs someone to take it to the next level for either the track or the street.

Hard Dog hardcore double diagonal rollbar (SCCA approved)

Cons (Everything is minor):
- Occassionally starts slow when hot
- Several small dings and scratches
- 2 or 3 small rust spots
- Clear coat has some water spots in it- particularly on the rear fender/ deck
- Slow drain on battery- if it sits for a few weeks. (Probably the aftermarket stereo)
- The underbody is clean, but the A-arms are rusted. Including a complete front and rear subframe hub-to-hub
- For some reason, several of the heart shields are rusted (am I nit-picking?). Nearly new ones are included
I have no idea what a car like this is worth. I've got $12,500 in it. Asking $10,500. Make me an offer- gotta go.
Car is located in Lexington SC.
EDIT: Price drop to $9500 obo.
