I think it's time to sell my MR2 Spyder. The car has been in my family since my dad purchased it in approximately 2005. He gave it to me in 2012 before he passed away from pancreatic cancer.

I love the car but it's time to sell it. The main reason for this is I want to do more track days and don't want to hack this up to put a roll bar in it and I want a better supported platform for a track car.

Pros:   I removed the precats in 2013 and at the time they showed no signs of degradation. The car runs well, no CEL, and doesn't burn any oil or leak any fluids. I just replaced the brake pads and rotors on all four corners and replaced the catalytic converter pipe with a low mileage OEM one. The car is stock. The interior is in great shape considering the age of the vehicle. It shows minimal wear and there are no tears in the seats or anything. The radio functions properly. The tires have good tread on them. The paint is in good shape overall, has some minor blemishes but nothing very noticeable unless you look very closely.

Cons:   Some of the body panels appear to be faded, they are just slightly off color compared to the other panels. I'm not sure why this is as the car hasn't been repainted or anything to my knowledge. This only seems to be noticeable in certain lighting conditions. The A/C doesn't blow as cold as it used to, my guess is it needs recharged. The soft top developed a very small tear which I patched from the inside to minimize the visibility from outside the car. The wheels have some blemishes on them but are in good condition otherwise. The engine lid cable stretched so there is a metal rod attached to the cable to release the latch that's accessible from the rear of the car.

Let me know if there are any other questions I can answer about the car. I'm located near Pittsburgh.

Mileage: 95,500 (will go up slightly)

$8,200 OBO

These are really such great cars. They're totally underrated. Your price seems good too. Hope you get it sold on. If I had need for another I'd be interested but one is enough for now!

Dang. Timing isn't right for me, but I hope it is for someone else here.

I've always wanted one of these and that is such a great color! Wish the timing was right for me but I promised the kids a trip to Universal Studios this fall so it isn't in the cards right now. GLWS!

How are they as far as interior space? I've got a friend looking for a convertible sports car that is 6'6"
