What can I say, other than it's a good van. 304k and climbing as I drive it to work once a week. It needs some work for Pa safety inspection that I will take care of in the next few weeks. Just passed emissions. VSA light (traction control) has been on for about 180k hasn't been an issue.
Details:
Fully loaded Touring model with leather Nav and DVD
De-PAX with MDX wheels
SVCM
LX/EX motor mount conversion
Class 3 Hitch and wired for trailer and brake controller
We've had it since 08 and 34k and have kept it going. Lots of main/parts replaced like both door actuators, rollers, etc has had 2 ps pumps, alternator, ac compressor, 2 sets of shocks/struts, new control arms last year, roof seams sealed.. hard to remember it all. It has an oil leak I don't feel like fixing (valve cover gaskets maybe) and will need rear pads soon. Everything else should be good to go.
$4000 obo

Just cross posted to fb and regretting it. Deals to be had for grmers
To be honest, a S PA vehicle, with high miles, does raise some concerns. But a know history might be enough to offset that!
im about done in FL; haven't plans on a trip that far north, but I'll let ya know if I do. Definitely interested in checking it out.
Its less rusty than most up here but starting to show a little around the rear wells. Mechanically its solid, made it through inspection.
One more bump, locals are getting annoying.
How is the transmission? This is still in the "they all explode" arena that the internet has warned me about.
Still going strong and shifting fine. I know there were updates at some point and this gen is generally better.

This looks pretty good for a PA car. It's hard to beat the utility of a minivan if you need a cheap vehicle. I've owned two of these & found even w/deferred maintenance, these things will drive "pretty good" for a long time. My first one died a 180k miles...SWMBO lent to a friend for 6 months & it was returned w/out any oil & knocking...I can't blame Honda for that. My current one is at 195k miles. It needs new bushings, but it's going strong.
It's the earlier generation had the glass transmissions (pre-2005). The 2005-2011 generation were better. I think the 2012+ were a little more complex & had more issues w/VTEC, etc (at least what the forums indicated back when I was a new owner). Neither of mine had any transmission issues. A periodic drain & fill is recommended.
Gladly accepting grm lowball offers instead of locals with "payment plans"
