$3500
Up for sale is my 2007 Nissan 350Z that I have daily driven since I purchased it new over 11 years ago. It has been well maintained and has never been in an accident or had any body/paint work done ever.
I’m currently expecting to receive my new car this week. If I do not get any interest before then, then I will likely trade it in.
The car is not perfect, but for a car that has 179,000 miles on it, it’s not bad. I’m including pics of the bad along with the good.
About the bad:
The timing chain is stretching. It causes a check engine light to come and go but I had a mechanic take a good look at it and determined it was in fact of a new chain.
The airbag light recently came on. The mechanic was not able to pull any codes from it. It could possibly be the connections under the seat needing to be cleaned. But really it is unknown.
The drivers side quarter panel is rusting over the wheel well(see pics)
The drivers seat is worn(see pics)
Various interior pieces where frequent hand contact occurs are losing their paint.
The fuel door release broke off at the tip and the part is $100. I’ve got it rigged so it functions fine but I would want to replace it if I kept the car longer.
Sometimes the stereo buttons don’t work, most of the time they do. Either way I always use the steering wheel controls so it never bothered me.
About the good:
It looks great, it's hard to believe it's an 11 year old car.
I just had the slave/master cylinder and clutch replaced 6,000 miles ago.
While the car has 180k miles, I had the transmission replaced under warranty right at 60k miles.
Rear brakes and rotors are new, I have front rotors and pads that I would include so the buyer can replace when necessary. It could use a brake fluid change while you’re at it.
Stillen cold air intakes, if you’re into that sort of thing. The rest is unmodified.
If anyone has any questions, please reach out to me and I’ll do my best to answer them. Thanks for looking.
