After 5.5 years of good times with one of my bucket list cars, it is time to move on. We are consolidating the fleet a bit and looking to replace with a convertible. Please ask any questions, and I'm happy to show it in person if you're interested.

30K +/- a little. I'm not sure where the auction is going to end up, but that's about market for those miles in good shape.
I can only hope for numbers like Cactus posted, that's more than I paid when I bought the car. Realistically I'm thinking low to mid 20s.
I did a little Googling after I posted my question. I think you should get what you are looking for. GLWS.
When I first looked, they were $12-15k. Then I realized those were not the M version. Most were hovering around $30k.
Absolutely gorgeous car, I love the Z coupes! The Z4 looks much less awkward then the Z3 version, and your example is a super clean one. GLWS!
I'm pretty happy with how the auction is going so far. We are at $20k, lots of good comments and discussion, nearly 600 watchers and 15k views. I have someone coming to look at the car in person today too, so I'm pretty hopeful there will be at least 2 people still interested and bidding on Wednesday afternoon when this ends.
I just went through all the pics you have on the listing. That is an awesome car and nice job with the ad. I suspect you will get some competitive bidding at the end.
So 25k. Did the buyer follow through? Are you happy with the process? I've never sold through bat, so am curious. For me the comments section can be pretty annoying at times.
Wow, I didn't realize this was yours. Watched the auction carefully, great result. Newbie/no comment/no bid history bidders scare me though, so I'm glad the BaT'er that came and looked at it bought it.
I have both bought and sold there... agreeing on a proper reserve and closely editing the copy were the hardest part. I'm very pleased.
The buyer did follow through, it helped that he was the only one who saw the car in person and is local, he called me about 2 minutes after the auction ended so we could talk and we are sorting logistics now. He certainly seems like a solid buyer. The guy who was the runner up had also emailed me about logistics as he was from TX.
Overall I was pleased with the process. I think the price was more than I would have accepted in a private sale, and not much less than I paid for the car when I bought it. The BaT team were very responsive through the process and it all happened pretty quickly. The comments were almost overwhelmingly positive, some of that is just the car, some I think had to do with how it was presented with lots of good pictures and records and full disclosure, and some I think was helped because I was very visible and responsive in the comments to engage with the buyers. The only thing that I didn't really like in this is the pressure for a very low reserve. We were negotiating back and forth a bit and I finally gave in because the amounts in question was way below what I thought the car would sell for so it wouldn't really matter in the end, and I was right. I understand their point of view in that they want low reserves to guarantee a sale as they only collect the buyers fee if the car sells, and that is where they make their $.
Overall, I'm going to do it again. I am planning on selling my MGA and Citroen SM before the winter, and both seem like they have a favorable audience with BaT, and I'll present them in the same way and hope for the best.
