My favorite uncle is selling his 2008 Turbo X, the following is from a Facebook ad I placed for him:
"Rare Saab Turbo X 592 imported to the US and of those only 168 are 6 speed manual transmission. This car has been enthusiast owned and properly cared for. All maintenance has been preformed by Saab specialists at Tired Iron Repair. Recent major work includes servicing of the all wheel drive system. Mechanically in excellent condition, interior in very good condition, and exterior showing typical central New York Tin worm but no major perforation. Contact Michael @ 315-824-3166 and leave a message"
2008 model year, 6 speed manual, 163K miles, very well maintained and drives and drives well. Unfortunately there is rust in the front fenders and the rear wheel arches. I have spent some time poking around this car and I think it can be saved (the underside is not as bad as the wheel arches) and for some of the guys on this forum this would be a worthwhile project. The drive line is very solid, no check engine lights or other concerns mechanically. With 280HP it is fast and fun. My uncle is a long time and close personal friend of Claude Hutchings (Tire Iron Repair) who has maintained this car over the years and could vouch for this cars current condition. I believe he spent $6k last year bringing the rare AWD system up spec.
Hopefully someone in this community will take this car and do something worthwhile with it. My uncle is a longtime Saab enthusiast and would love nothing more than to see this car go to the right next home.
