I could be interested. The hesitation/stalling is a little concerning though. Sounds like it could be the turbo going out, or a boost sensor, or a vacuum leak like you were saying.

Yeah, could be any of those things. It had similar symptoms last year due to a torn stock turbo inlet boot, and I replaced with a Perrin one, and that fixed the problem. Now it's back with the same symptoms So I'm thinking it's a vac leak on something connected to that boot. When I did the boot I checked for play in the turbo but didn't notice any. The last code it threw (I forget what it was) is, according to the internet, usually associated with an exhaust leak at the downpipe causing a lean reading on the O2. The DP is original and has never been detached, so that's certainly a possibility too. I am really not a "Subaru guy" per se (notwithstanding owning this car for 9 years), and have almost no knowledge of Subie engines/turbo stuff (though I know Subaru suspension quite well).

I would spend time to figure it out, but honestly I'm just ready for something else that's easier (and cheaper fuel-wise) to commute in. I have enough project cars that I don't really enjoy working on the WRX any more and I do all my "fun driving" these days in the e30 (and soon the Porsche) so just gonna get something boring and normal to commute

Price listed is negotiable (especially for GRM members), though I think it's fairly reasonable as listed - especially if it's an easy fix like a vac leak lol. But if you're interested, feel free to come check it out.

It looks really nice, and I like it, but since my last post the shop was able to fix the A/C in the miata, so I'm not really in a position to buy something else. When the A/C wasn't working, my commute to Gaithersburg was making me desperate... Unless you wanted a motorcycle as partial trade... ;)
