That thing is exactly like one my brother had when I was a teen. At least on the outside; his was inline six swapped.
I find it surprising that more people don't fix up Willys trucks, wagons and such. I think that they're cool as heck.

Probably because there just aren't many left...they've all rusted away to nothing.
I have a line on a 1958 Willys Jeepsters and it is not much more than that pricewise. Rough, but honestly, if you have to do bodywork, the panels are all flat and floor panels are available. If I do go ahead, I wont be using much more than the body tub anyways.
