My mom's first car was the same year Century. I think the two models were identical except for the front fascia.
I had a 74 when I was 18, and always wished it was a 76/77, but the earlier design has grown on me over the years. Mine was a 350 4 barrel. With a bunch of timing advance it would get out of its own way.

I'm of the opinion that Chevrolet's early Colonnade cars looked better than their later ones, and vice versa for Buick and Oldsmobile models.
Guy in high school has a '73 white Cutlass, jacked up rear, larger tires and a set of glass packs.
