I think I remember that guy posting here in ine of the earlier threads about that car. Still interesting.
It takes some attention to detail to determine which of those pictures are of the car for sale and which are of real 917s.
Cracks me up that 4 years ago when we were first introduced to this project, this guy was trying to find someone to wire the car and he still is now. How do you acquire the skills to hand fabricate something this incredible and not be able to do enough basic wiring to get a car running?
I posted this a long time ago. He tried to sell some of his stuff unfinished before.
As far as I can tell, he's a pratt and whitney engineer.

Sometimes "geniuses" are like that. Incredible talent in one area, but barely able to function in others. If you ever have the chance to work with someone like that they are fascinating.
