At least this one runs and drives- for what it's worth. Interesting drivetrain choice, as McBurnie Daytonas were typically on a Corvette C3 chassis

Get yourself a Sonny Crockett outfit .... Woody posted one also, but it won't open for me. Same car?
The bumpers and front corner/sidemarker lights would be tough to source, I think. The Sonny Crockett outfit would be much easier...
I recall seeing a 250 GTO replica built on some kind of Z-car chassis (I believe it was a 280 ZX). It looked pretty convincing to me, but then again it was a quite a few years ago.
I always thought something like that would be fun to do some track shenanigans with.

There are a coupla outfits still selling those body kits. They're built on the '70-'79 Z-car chassis. The giveaway is the lack of wing windows and the hatch is from the Z-car. Otherwise pretty convincing. You can even build a Spyder...

In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
They were awesome in the early '80s.
With the rust potential of the early Z cars, probably not a great plan today.
definitely one of my favorite body transformation kits ever.
