We are pulling up stakes and going back to Vegas. I can't afford to haul yet another toy back with me, so I am hoping to sell my 68 Valiant street legal stock car project. It is running/driveable but needs the paint finished.
Details are here:

Asking $5500, but very open to reasonable offers.
Truly a face that only a mother could love.
- 5.9 Magnum (360) engine. Converted to carburetor and points ignition. Has headers with 90 degree turn out pipes. Runs strong with no smoke!
- 3 speed manual
- 8 3/4 rear with a streetable center section. Will come with two spare sets of locked gears for the track.
- New brakes with drilled/slotted rotors. New master cylinder
- New gauges
- All new electrical system
- New Hoosier racing slicks with new 15×10 Bassett wheels
- Manual steering with a steering quickener
- Adjustable rear leaf spring setup
- Fuel cell
- Has window net and vintage race seat/belts
- Tail lights/brake lights and turn signals (currently installing the headlights)
- Still set up for circle track. I have not changed any suspension settings. Still has all of the lead bolted in.
Will come with the following spares:
- Rebuildable 5.9 motor
- Two center sections with locked gears (one is a 4.11)
- Trunk lid
- Bumpers
- Fenders
- A body K member with control arms
- Misc engine and electrical spares.
- Rear window glass
That is cool. WIsh I could get my cheap ass to spend that much. You state converted to points ignition? You don't mean true points right? More like an HEI type?
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
Ha! No, actual points. I had a points distributor laying around so I used it. It actually runs really well with them.
I really like the stock car for the street builds. Looks good to me. Good luck with sale.
In reply to VegasNick :
Well ok then. That's what I get for assuming.
Oh my. That's not something I'm in the market for, but the want is strong. Well done.
I've wanted a Dart race car for years. So since this is a Plymouth I won't look. What cars could I sell to get this? NO I'm not looking. You can't make me. Dang that's cool.
In reply to psteav (Forum Supporter) :
Thanks man!

hahah I hear ya! Honestly if it weren't for the $1,000 estimate to haul it to Vegas with me, I'd probably keep the thing. It will be a fun car for somebody.
where is it located now?
Nevermind it's in the link.
What does the thing weigh?

Street legal so I could fly and drive 10 hours back to Asheville?
I can't though. I'm not allowed to buy any new toys until I buy a I house where I can work on them.

You cold but youd have big arms by the time you got home! It is still set up to turn left.
Sold off some of the spare parts and dropped the price to $5,000.
Somebody come get this thing... :)
Well I am happy to say that Big Ugly has gone to a new home here in Florida.
Wishing I could find this damn car again!
