After seeing the white whale build thread now I want a lt1 wagon. Feel free to post up what you find on your Facebook/Craigslist searches. The prices in my area seem higher than I expected.
didn't find much but this one for $3,500

The prices on those have been coming up around here as well. I have been wanting one for a while, I guess I should move on them before I can't afford one.

Yep. It comes full circle. That's the build thread that inspired me to buy the White Whale, that I then sold to Gariathon, that he then inspired you to make this thread topic. It's contagious.
Some one save me from myself, already swapped 6.0 caprice wagon. Sounds like needs a transmission. And some wiring cleaned up. Asking price is 3k.
if it wasn't 5 hours away I might go look at it at least.

It is contagious, I am hoping if I just post enough ads here then eventually I will forget about buying one myself.

I did not need to see that it is ridiculously close to me! I may have go check it out and report back!
Im glad I inspired somebody! Time has done well for these cars. They drive really nice and are quite simple in all aspects, which I really value. Plus, they are begging for more power!

That's only 90-100 miles from me, and with what people are asking for 6.0s around here, it's tempting to grab for the drivetrain only.
Hmm, I’m curious what some rust in the floors means in Salem, IN. In Ohio, that generally means flintstones-mobile. Which would end up making me feel less guilty about yanking the drivetrain, and selling or scrapping the roller.
In reply to eastsideTim :
Well if you buy it for the drivetrain then it would put the roller in the correct state (Ohio) for me but I also said I don't want to deal with another rust bucket. At least that is what I keep telling myself.
I rode the wagon train in the early 2000's, great car, I sold my Vette on Wednesday and bought this Saturday. I had as much fun with the wagon as the Vette.

Too funny. Must be a thing. Gariathon sold his 'Vette a few days before buying the White Whale from me.
Well I was stretched out owning the vette and I couldn't afford to do anything other than drive it. The wagon was liberating because I could do anything to it and there was no sacrilege. The BMW wheels, lower, tint, impala grill, new instrument cluster. There aren't really any rules I'm caprice wagon town so you can be free (and I could afford it).

It was really nice, when I bought it it looked like many of the others in the previous pics, wire hub caps, wood trim etc. I removed all that and got it ready for paint, it was painted by a friend and it came out super. That car was a real head turner. It was also a 93, so it had door mounted mirrors, I put the 94 and up mirrors on and did little touches like the mirror mounted turn signals in this pic.
edit: 95 and up, Patrick is right
94 still door mount mirrors. 95-96 were their own deal.
I have had 6+ 91-96 wagons and 4 sedans, can't remember exactly how many. Dad still has my old 92 roadmonster sedan but he's let it go from sitting the last 4 years and it's unfortunately probably best a parts car now.

Looks like on FB the guy just dropped the list price to $2,500.
I don't want another rusty car. I don't want another rusty car. I don't want another rusty car. I don't want another rusty car.

I wonder if my neighbors (and wife) would complain if that thing spent the winter parked in my backyard.
