that's an absolutely tremendous deal for a beautiful and super capable car.  the V6 1LE is massively slept on - they were faster around the lightning lap than an equivalent 5.0 stang at the time.  if i was in the market right now i'd have a real hard time passing this up for a lesser spec'd V8.

possibly unpopular take - i think the LGX V6 is one of the best sounding V6's ever made, and with that NPP exhaust, would probably make me aaaaalmost as happy as the V8 noises.  and they take 87 octane and have none of the lifter failures the LT1 has.  for a daily that you can track on the weekends its perfect.

I'm with you! If this was higher-mileage (thus, lower priced) I'd be all over it. I drove this car's higher-mileage, higher-priced twin a couple weeks ago at a dealership. Was a nice drive, the dual-mode exhaust was sweet, and launch-control/no-lift-shift was sweet. This is a deal!

I think the two oversights on the V6 1LE were not including Recaro seats as standard and not even having the option for the magnetic ride control suspension (both standard on the V8 1LE). But you can't argue with the Lightning Lap results.

Pretty much what I'm looking for, but it's almost as far away from me as it could be and still be in the lower 48.  There's a 2.0L Turbo 1LE close by for $20k with 10k miles, but I really love my 2016 1LT V6, and don't know if I could be happy with the 4 cyl.

if i was a hardcore autox'er, it would probably be the ideal spec thanks to the lightest weight chassis and best F/R distribution of all the camaro variants.  but as a daily or track car i'd never give up the V6, either for the grunt, the sound, or the ease of maintenance.

if you're just driving on the street your 1LT is fine.  i have an LT1 (basically a stripped out SS minus the coolers) and have never needed all those extras to enjoy it daily, and in a few years i won't be chasing leaks as all those lines, seals, and pumps inevitably start to degrade.
