Found this on my daily search.  Someone who's in the Metro Detroit, or Ann Arbor area should grab this if they have a need.  If not, can someone facilitate and help me grab it.  This looks a really good deal.

Good deal but not in my neck of the woods

It is a good deal.  Leather implies this is a loaded model also.

$100 will get you a used fender in the correct color.

$150 will get you a used front bumper cover in the correct color ( but I'd probably just keep the current one on there.)

$200 could get you a replacement, used leather seat which seem to have a busted seam on the seat bottom.

It's then a $4k car

Prediction.  This will be sold before the day is over.

Hmm. I'm in the market for one and 5 hours or so away.

Think it'll be gone quick. I'd only be worried about rust... But it's almost cheap enough to not care.

That would be an awesome daily. I'd get it right now if I could. 5 hours away tho...

I truly wanted to grab this for my step daughter to upgrade from her '98 Saturn.

But she is on a trip to New York right now, and I am not liquid enough to cover her this week.

Somebody can get there today, I will send them the money via paypal, Venmo, whatever.  This is precisely what I'm looking for.  I will even toss another $100 in for your time and effort. I would then do a fly and drive. Let me know if anybody can go and snag this for me. I will get you the money now.

Geez, you're in Atlanta!  What we up north consider to be the hot-spot of plentiful rust free cars.  My advice to you continues to be stop trying to buy cars north of the Mason-Dixon.  Hell, even if you have to pay more, it's still a deal if that paying more gets you rust free.

To those of you already north of The Mason-Dixon... (and only you.)

I will be putting a Prius up for sale soon. 2004 w/160k probably need $3,500 for it.  Very nice car.

Another comment for those of us residing in "Union States"...These Prius rust very little.  (That's very little by northern standards.)  Like, if compared to a similar Corolla of the vintage, the Prius is notably "cleaner".  Toyota charged a significant amount of dollars more for a new Gen2 Prius vs the same year Corolla.  I have no proof but I really feel they used a better metal on these cars.  They have no issues of subframe rust-through like some other economy cars.  They do not have magically disappearing rear wheel well like Honda and Mazda of the era.  No disappearing rockers like Ford Focus of the era.

I'd be interested. Currently living in Northern Kentucky.

When are you thinking of putting it up for sale?

Going back to my Prius thread, it looks like here on page 14 in Feb of this year I said I was going to be selling it soon.  Yeah, I haven't been to active about bothering to actually put it up for sale.  It's the silver one that I call P5.

Yes, as photographed, it was once in an accident and in just 3 hours, it was fixed.  I bought it as Ohio Salvage and through the State of Ohio I rebuilt it to a fully road-authorized Rebuilt Title.

Before:

After (a few hours work) :

All body parts were swapped to same color used parts.  The biggest drawback...notice the original pinstripe is now on only half of the driver's side.

In reply to Patrick :

They only run on 87 octane.  They were built for the cheap stuff.  42 mpg without trying that includes long stretches with the cruise control set at 77mph.

I also failed to mention.  The current tires are old and they are fine for "summer conditions" but I will include a set of used real winter tires also.  These winter tires are not mounted but you have a tire changer.  Also, being a 2004, no TPMS (which became law in 2007.)

Thanks for the tip.  If that were within 30 minutes of my house, I'd probably grab it.  But that one's a Gen 3.  I'm primarily focused on Gen 2 cars they're more reliable.

The white 2010 above is the first year of Gen3.  These have a 1.8L gas and Gen2 have a 1.5L gas.

The 1.8L are common for oil consumption and HGs.  As such, replacement 1.8L engines are not cheap.  Screen shots from car-part.com just minutes ago.

396k asking $1,845
89k asking $3,784

High demand equals high price.

Now we go to car-part for a 1.5L

$300, $400, $800

Low demand equals low price.  Ive seen engines near 100k miles asking just $300.  But, no one ever really needs a used 1.5L because they never go bad.

When you say Northern KY are we talking at least near The Cincinnati Airport?  You know, the whole line thing...

What are your answers to these questions?
Should tea be sweetened?
Should cornbread contain sugar?
