I’m not planning on getting it this weekend, just buying it.
Also I need a solid commitment from someone. This is just too cool to let go but I really don’t need it.

So is this add a misprint or is it possible that this car has a 2.0 LZ engine in it. It does say 510Z, if it has a twin cam engine in it the grasp of my cold dead hands may get tighter.
If it was not so far away your cold dead hands would be the only thing left hanging on to the rear bumper, aka national Lampoon's vacation...

Possible, tight fit
Quick update.
Title says it’s a 1971. Raced in Florida with SCCA through the early eighties, parked until 2006. PO bought it in 2006 not running with a 1200 in it. Ran it for a few years like that then put in the current 2.0z motor, it reads Z on the cam cover, single cam.
Glass hood, front and rear fenders. Comes with last years Hosiers and rains. It’s a legit solid car.
I also got the original 1200 and trans. His Mechanic is rounding up the rest of the spares if any.
We had to move the Mini, Whaler and Porsche to get to it in the climate controlled garage.
I have a spare left side glass fender if you end up needing it. Mine had box flares and this standard flare came along as a spare.
Major fail on that one.
It has a really nice headliner and dome light.
What is this thing really worth? It’s solid and racecar straight.
We didn’t start it but he gave me a money back guarantee that it will fire right up for a test drive and to pull it on the trailer. Basically track ready, just parked after its last outing last year.
Price is really about right from the last three I’ve seen. They aren’t fast or competitive just good track cars.
There is a huge Datsun following in Oregon/Washington/California for some reason, maybe because they didn’t fall apart the way they did here.
What's it really worth? If it was to become a wrl or champcar (both series are moving to better looking more professional builds), I would call that a 4k$ car.
If it was mine, I'd update the seat, belts, center net, and put in an engine with more thrust and drive the bejesus out of it.

With a spare engine and other bits involved, I'll have to price out uship or similar compared to The Blue Can Express.
That thing is just cool. No nothing about Datsun's but that looks lile a lot of car and fun, for very little money.
Holy Berk! Uhaul wants over $500 for a one way car trailer rental!
Workaround: rent one from one town over from me & return at home =$89
This car is probably under 2000 lbs, two guys can lift the engine and trans. Everything else goes in the car.
