Probably predates my time here, but that has the unmistakable stamp of Andrew and Calvin Nelson all over it. Location makes it a lock.

The seller is a former(?) GRMer, so no surprise there!

I hate when people call a restomod, and I'm not even sure this qualifies for that term, a restoration.  This is about as far from a restoration as a car can get.

Fiat 118g.  Reminds me a lot of Datsun's Fairlady 1200.  These two are 1959s.

Dang, I really wish I was in a position to buy that.  It debuted in 2005, and that's the first challenge I attended!

I think that was the car that won in 2005. I was running my Suzuki Swift GT at that event.

I would love to show up with that at the local dragstrip.

I think I remember your Swift - huge stuffed husky in the passenger seat?  The Nelsons dominated the drag strip that year(as usual), but I think someone else took the overall win.  For some reason, I have it in my head that it was a 2nd Gen RX7 with a 302 swap, but I could be wrong.  Can't find my copy of the challenge issue for that year.

I sold the Swift, but I still have the huge stuffed Husky in my living room.
