I have been working on building an e30 for stage rally use over the last two years, but have now come to a point where I need to re-prioritize my life and unfortunately that means selling the project. Some of you may have seen this car around in the build thread section, so here's a link to that:
If I had to summarize this car, I'd say it's VERY well suited for rallycross (2019 season champ in my region, currently fighting for season championship as well), and it's a great start to a stage rally build. A lot of the things I've done with this car have been done with the intention of holding up to stage rally abuse, so it may be a bit "overbuilt" for rallycross. That said, there's no reason this car couldn't also be used for autocross, HDPE, etc.
It is NOT a show car in the slightest. I'd say its a "20 footer" - at best. The paint is pretty rough, there's still some residual body damage from the previous owner and my underwhelming body repair abilities. Plenty of rock chips all over the place, but the chassis is largely rust free.
The engine (and everything behind it) works well, but seems to be a little tired. At a warm idle, the oil pressure is low. It's fine once you're off idle, but I feel it's worth mentioning. Still makes plenty of power all the way to redline. Handles great and comes with enough spare parts and wheel/tire options to keep you busy.
My asking price for GRM members is $5,000 for the car and all spares.
If you're interested in also buying the trailer, I'll sell it as a package for $6,000.
If you're buying the whole package with the trailer, I'll even deliver it anywhere in the continental US for $0.50 per mile (round trip).
