DeLand, Florida, just inland from Daytona Beach. $5500 OBO.

I'm willing to consider a drive and fly.

Approx 170,000 miles. Runs great, no check engine lights. Working cruise control.

Sport S package with the big brakes, torsen, and chassis bracing, plus a hardtop and roll bar. Storm S1 15x8 wheels, with Khumo PS31 tires, 205/50/15. Momo wheel, race seat, Flyin Miata stage one clutch with 10 lb flywheel. Super loud Tornado air horn.  All service history since new.

Repainted from BRG in factory Lava Orange, including jambs, underside of trunk, etc. No soft top. MazdaSpeed Miata front bumper cover, spoiler, sill plates. Interior converted from tan to black, leather passenger seat. Also have the original dash, and a stock wheel, although no driver’s airbag.

In the last year, it’s had a new timing belt, water pump, hoses, belts, harmonic balancer, fuel pump, fuel filter, Q Max coolant reroute with working EGR, shocks, catalytic converter, flying miata extended tip spark plugs, plug wires, coils, CPS (comes with spares, one new and a good used one). Edit: I forgot about the new alternator.

When I bought it last February, it had new brakes with new rear calipers, the clutch replaced, along with a mainshaft seal. AC works, EDIT: HEAT NOW WORKS, NEEDED THE CABLE REATTACHED TO THE BLEND DOOR.

AC

I bought the car for a fun weekend car, plus track days and autocross, but turned out to be a dedicated autocross car. I’ve never done a track day, I’m selling it to get something just for autocross only.

Sport S package with the big brakes, torsen, and chassis bracing, plus a hardtop and roll bar. Storm S1 15x8 wheels, with Khumo PS31 tires, 205/50/15. Also comes with stock 15x6 wheels with Bridgestone RE71r tires. Momo wheel, race seat, Flyin Miata stage one clutch with 10 lb flywheel. Super loud Tornado air horn.  All service history since new.

It's not perfect, didn't have time to post all of the photos. There's a small dent in the deck lid. The car came with a tablet mounted in the dash, I pulled it out.

Still for sale, and now the replacement is here. The NB2 is more of a track day car with the big brakes and roll bar. I'm totally going to ES autocross, so I bought the NB1.

It definitely feels like a track day car.  Some of the mods, while perfectly fine, throw it all the way to CSP for SCCA autocrossing.  It’s a fun starting point for that class though, GLWS.

In reply to KyAllroad (Jeremy) :

Yeah, and although it's super competitive in this area, I really want to compete in es. The new car is a 99 hard s, and already fully prepped to the limit of the rules.

While I suppose I could pick up some good quality used parts to modify the 01 suspension, I don't want to spend a lot more money on the car.

That's why I priced it the same as where it was when I bought it. The hardtop, roll bar, and wheels alone are worth a couple thousand, I hope.

Sent message, but not sure if made it through.  Interested in stock wheels and RE71R's, if you have any interest to sell seperately.

can you splain the dash replacement / no heat thing?

Previous owner had replaced the interior, which included swapping the dash.

The rest of the system works, AC blows cold and there's flow through the heater hoses.

I posted about this on GRM and Keith Tanner suggested that since all of the rest of the system is working, it's most likely that it's a problem with the dash installation.

The problem for me is finding the time to work on it. I'm sitting in the orthodontist office waiting for my daughter. Then I will be going to see my dad at the ALF, even though he won't know who I am.

If its anything like my protege (which it might be) it could be the metal cable from the temp control isn't seated properly or isn't attached at all. I have that issue right now but with the blower direction knob (only have windshield defrost to face and feet, wont go into face only)
