As the title says, Free RX-8.
Reality has sunk in and this just isn't a project I'm excited enough to put the effort into. It's exactly as dropped off by Gumby and NoCones, with the addition of FREE Hoosier Slicks now inside.

The car is currently located in my driveway on the far East side of Indianapolis. Unless the former owner's chime in otherwise, there are no strings attached to this one. I haven't bonded with it as I anticipated, and I'm pursuing other automotive things (reference my fix and flip build thread). If Mr_Asa passes, it's yours
Which moved between us more? This, the $1000 GLH or the blue 60's Toyota (Corona)?

Yep. No title. But there were reasonable reasons to believe it is NOT stolen. Just a "too complicated circumstances to get a title" situation.
I am aware of no expectations on the fate of this RX8 other then "not in Gumbys Driveway".
I definitely feel the reconsidering projects energy. Sorry it didn't work out hope it leaves quickly.
Man I still wish this was closer and I had room. Looks like a great starting point

Anything is an adapter with enough welder.

Unfortunately you are starting to learn why there aren't more V8 swapped rx8s running around. The rest of the car really isn't setup to handle high torque "low" rpm motors.
Carbon fiber driveshaft, 4.high ratio diff. All great for a rotary engine, less so for a turbo V8.
I really think the rx8 deserves a lightweight v6 or maybe a kswap.
