Once I saw a GoldWing without all the crap on it I fell in love with them.

Low CG and gobs of torque, what's not to like?

Is there a reason why I'd want a four cylinder instead if the six if I were to use the motor/trans elsewhere?

Goldwings were originally configured as naked bikes (76 and 77). They only got all the gak added later.

I think 1983 was the last year you could buy a factory built naked bike.

The were also the fastest Japanese bike until Kawasaki stepped up.

4 cylinders is enough with all the bolt ons taken off, they're cheaper than the six.
