Looks like red paint exploded inside and on the engine.
Even though that car is mostly gray, it is also mostly red.

When I was in high school (73), buddy of mine got a good deal on a low mileage 61 Chevy sedan.
The reason for the low price was the can of International Orange spray paint that wasn't capable of withstanding the heat of a closed car in a Florida summer.
The can must have flown around inside the car when it ruptured, because other than the glass (which had been more or less cleaned off), EVERYTHING was orange.
You would certainly have no trouble finding a queen for your double wide trailer with that thing.
When I hit the billion dollar lottery I'll buy and restore cars like this. Makes no sense financially, but feels like the right thing to do.

Back when I was working on boats, we did a job on a 90 foot sailing yacht that had been bought in France and then towed to Connecticut. Among other disasters, someone decided to play with a flare gun that they had found while sitting on one of the toilets. There was probably a comparable amount of orange inside the small white bathroom.
If I could, I'd buy it, lift it an inch or two and put the gnarliest set of snows on it I could find and make it my winter beater
