The company or person has been spamming local Craigslist with those for years, don't think any ever sold from them honestly, but lots of cool stuff in their photos
They bought that and a number of other cars at the auction in Norwalk a few years ago and still can't sell them.
17 grand buys a lot of toys with a lot more usability than this thing. It's cool, no doubt, but a terrible value prop.

It still pisses me off when i see stuff i got outbid by $50 on pop on CL for 4x the purchase price. I really wanted the borgward isabella. Granted if i had won all 14 cars i had the high pre bid on i'd have been boned, but still
edit: Wiki says that they were designed by the same guy who made the BD-5 microjet. (i.e the Coors silver bullet, James Bond microjet in a horse trailer). Yes, these were originally supposed to be aircraft.

I've seen one on the road, being driven. It was a white one, and was southbound on US 27 in Florida between Tavares and Winter Haven. Moving slow.
I think they were originally supposed to be airplane fuselages
Looks like fun, but about 5x -10x overpriced IMHO.
I have a few weird rare vehicles in my collection. But as a friend pointed out, no matter how rare they are they won't ever rise in value unless there is a following who are excited about them and want them. Rarity alone is not sufficient.
