But it's an Espirt, just a knock off of an Esprit.  How good or bad can it be.  

That gosh darn blemished title is just too troublesome for me.  Not a big deal in Michigan, but will hurt when it is time to sell.

What I see is a fun car for the money, but don't expect to make much on it.  I would still love to own this for a few years then break even on it.

I'm guessing it would be difficult to trade my Kubota (I really have one I need to get rid of) tractor wouldn't work for this transaction since I'm in California. Probably a good thing...

I'm wondering what needs to be done to the car to make it drivable. He's sayin' Five Large but less if you can do the work (which means all of us here). If any of you guys've asked, let us know.

I think that's an older immobilizer setup, where if you don't enter the proper code, the car won't start.

Very cheap price for a stevens body Espirt. 

Good project for someone, easy to work on and live with exotic. 

After an interchange concerning the Kubota, and no further information about what exactly is wrong with the Lotus, I've heard nothing. Not sure about what is going on there but it seems a bit fishy. I can say I'm off the ledge for the time being.
