Long time GRM lurker here, would like to see this car go to someone who will enjoy it so I figured I would post it here.
2002 XJR, info is in ad. Realistically the car needs a battery, a wheel bearing and some tires to be driveable. Bodywork optional if you're planning to race it.
For grassrooters I'm asking $2250 obro. Contact info is in the ad.

Is the wheel bearing $500 or did I read it wrong?
In reply to Donebrokeit :
Rockauto shows the fronts at $22.00.

To clarify that's what I paid for parts/labor total when I had the left front done. I'm sure it can be done cheaper if you can DIY.

With the replacement brake parts on a separate(exempt) receipt, this is Challenge money. Somebody better do it.
I'm pretending like I didn't see this and attempting not to make an offer. Luckily it's "far" away.

9-2x, like a kids first project car, type of liquidate? Or like it stopped retaining liquids and needs to rest in pieces?

I have it all written up on some thread around here. Wanted a winter/rally car for $2,500 or less. Forum member JShawbaru (probably misremembering the spelling) gave me a 2005 Saab 9-2x Linear auto for free, bringing me in well under budget. 260k miles and an unascertainable coolant leak, quart low on coolant every gas fill up. Discovered it was an external-only head gasket leak. Holds pressure, no oil gas coolant mixing anywhere.
First drive in it was the Press On Regardless DST rally where I discovered the front control arm was a rusted shell of its former glory, much to the tow driver's annoyance since it was 8 miles off a paved road-- and on a road you run a RALLY on.
Life has changed and I cannot work on my own stuff right now so I ended up getting everything fixed for a total value of $2,700, including nice new tires. So just barely over the intended price point!
except it still leaks from the driver's head.
Otherwise a great car, nice interior, pleasant to drive, and I'll regret selling it because it made my winter fun, but if used car prices are what they say, it would be stupid to not get out from under that leak which I don't have the ability to fix right now. Also I don't hear it but a shop I trust said to replace the driver's front hub within the next year.
Soooo to answer your question: it depends on the buyer.
and sorry for the thread jack
