Put a larger cooler in the back of the bed, fill it full of water, and grease the bottom.

IIRC, they had a big steel counterweight either bolted to the very rear of the frame or inside the rear bumper.
The FC150 did in later years. It had the wheelbase of a CJ5, and was known to go "you-know-what over teakettle" before the weight was added. This one is the "long" 103" wheelbase and wasn't as prone to such antics. I built a roll cage for a friend who bought a 150 for $400 and made an offroader out of it. It was a hoot on downhills....
