Yup, one of 424 sold in the US and he's bought another almost identical car with way fewer miles on the clock to replace it.
When ever people start bad mouthing VW/Audi products on this board I jump in with the number of people I know who don't have issues, just do regular correct maintenance, this is one of those cars.
I admit I haven't seen the car for a while, but I'd vouch for it being exactly as (very very detailed) described.
