Yeppers but 88-91 did have some crossover.  GM usually introduced the new body style in the single cabs first.

88-91 Suburbans and Crewcab dually's were square body's. All the Pickups and extended cab versions were the OBS/ C/K / GMT400

For me OBS was the 80 up square body ferds, since Chebby already had the 73 - 87 (ish) Square Body nick name. It was only on here several years ago I heard it used for a gmt 400. Never has sounded quite right to me. 
But, yea, that is neither a '70s chebby , nor an '80s Ferd 

Chevy groups kill me with their terms OBS, NBS, NNBS etc.
