Really considering this car, any thoughts on parts availability?

No idea for sure, but considering I had never heard of it, much less seen one, I would suspect pretty tough to get parts.  Well at least body parts, trim etc.

That is a super cool car. Too bad the seller didn't include bigger pics and closeups of the body work. I'd really want to check it out in person before buying - there's a lot of sins that small digital photos can hide completely.

I imagine mechanically it's like any other 1957 Studebaker. Look around for parts from the usual suspects online (Rock Auto probably has tuneup and hydraulic parts at least) and it looks like there are a few specialist Studebaker parts suppliers online. Body wise, I bet the wagon parts are tough to find but the rest are probably like any other old car - available but not cheap and not as good as original.

I asked the seller for undercarriage pics, he will text them to me.  Says the floor pans were redone quite nicely, means the carpet doesn't match the drapes.

It looks like they totally ripped off the 56 Chevy with that design.

After you put that body on a C5 Chassis, parts availability will be quite good.

Seller sent pictures, carpet definitely doesn't match the drapes.

I didn't know " redone quite nicely" meant the floors had sheet metal screwed over them.

There's "Seller's Standards" and "Buyer's Standards".  Too bad, I really like the body.
