Time to sell my NC, great car, love driving it, but too many cars and not enough driving means it is time to go to someone else who will enjoy it.
2007 NC Sport - Silver with Black interior, 5 speed
Upgraded with the following:
Bilstein sport shocks and Mazdaspeed sport springs (the first thing you should to to any NC is replace the springs and shocks)
RX8 "red dot" sway bars
Sport tec drilled rotors and performance pads
Roadstersport cat back exhaust
Enkei 17x9 wheels with 235/45/17 Yokohama S-Drives (with the correct offset wheels so they don't rub, fenders don't need to be rolled unless you move up to 245's)
New black Hartz cloth convertible top
Pioneer NAV system with Sirius, Apple Play and Polk speakers
Excellent condition, 98,000 miles, just serviced with all fluids replaced. Had the headlights professionally polished last year, clean title. Excellent paint, no rust.
Have not even looked at the market yet to see what it is worth, let me know if you have any interest and I can shoot you some pictures and discuss price. It is set up as they should have come from the factory. Fast, handles flat and just a ton of fun to drive anywhere. Pictures tomorrow.
I was going to be salty...for no good reason.
Could you please post a price? A range...maybe?
I am looking to get $8k for it. I paid about that for it, put 30K miles on it, and the list of accessories above add another 5K invested. I know that is the high end, but this is a car you can jump in and enjoy. Most of the NC's that you can find for much less won't look and drive like this one.

Not really seeing how you spent $5k in upgrades. You didn't install Ohlins or do a 2.5L swap, not seeing where you spent the money.
I've followed the national buy/sell/trade group for NC Miatas on Facebook for the past two years. You're way, way, way on the high end with this. $8-9k gets you a clean NC1 with a 2.5L swap. Or it'll get you an NC2 with some tasteful mods. This will maybe sell for $6k to the right buyer.
I'd trade you for a 2005 Toyota Tundra. I'm looking for a summer top-down toy.

Agree that a stock NC in the 6K range, but then you would have to do all the upgrades. Figure $700 for Bilstein Sports, $384 for the springs, $200 for the sway bars, Stoptec brakes were $410, Roadstersport exhaust was $850, Wheels and tires were $1400, Upgraded Hartz cloth top was $850 and the stereo was another $850. All of this was added by me, so does not include any labor costs. There is a big difference between a tired NC1 and this car.

Can't do a trade, need to pay off our new driveway, so one of the cars has to go. Nice truck!

Wait, really? I had no idea that NCs had become so cheap.

Yup, NC1s are 12-14 years old now and 4 updates behind the ND2. They also had slightly weaker internals than the NC2/3 and that god-awful cuv (slight hyperbole) ride height. 5-6k is the normal price for greater than 60k miles or so.
I'm not a potential buyer but i do think it is a dick move to come to someones for sale thread and talk E36 M3 about the car, or the price. If its more than you want to spend, move on, dont berkeley up someone elses chance to get what they think their car is worth.
Thanks, been holding off my comments, but totally agree. I see this on Facebook all the time. People not interested in the car or item you are selling but just feel compelled to comment that you are asking too much for your NA hardtop for $1,000 when they found theirs for $300. If you don't think it is worth the asking price, then offer less if you are serious, but there is no point in making comments if you have no interest in the car or item.
To add on to that, I just did a nationwide CL search yesterday for NCs, and in my opinion, this car is very well priced. If I was in the market, I'd be seriously interested. GLWS.
Car looks amazing!
Price seems very reasonable for such a well taken care of, beautiful car.
Thanks Indy, should be sold on Ebay by the close of the auction. It is in great shape and ready for the new owner. With two modified Triumphs, the MR2 V6 swap, and two NA Miatas (one donating it's running gear for the other one), I have enough cars for the current moment to keep me busy. Whoever buys it will be really happy with it as it is a great car.
I told this guy $20,000 might be a little high. Now I feel like a dick.
