My Mom had a heart attack and stroke this morning.
So I have to cut back pretty severely on the number of projects.
Still located in Yerington NV near Reno.
Despite having a running engine and fresh rebuilt Dellorto's I just cannot seem to complete the 78 Alfa Romeo Spider bodywork. I have all the patch panels.
Has a title, open to reasonable offer, good floors, too good to part out.
Oh, and a removable aftermarket hard top.
One titled RUST FREE and strait TR6 project that a former owner began to make into a race car.
Unfired Rebuilt engine with ported head, but has been sitting.
I do not know what else was done to the engine internally.
I have a triple Weber intake for it, no carbs.
I have all the parts to restore this one to original.
I also have two complete stock drive-trains, a strait roller chassis, and a bent at the front roller chassis.
Some additional extras as well.
Prefer to sell all TR6 stuff as one lot, get a group buy together if you like.
To be clear, there is only ONE TR6 body.
I was going to put Dio Tipo bodies on the extra chassis.
Would like $10K for everything but can break it up, make serious offers.
Spridgets, some have titles, some do not.
One 1275 and rib-case car with title, engine is stuck.
Also a '75 RB car less engine but never hit.
Tons of parts too.
'78 Midget with 1275 that turns over is a maybe sale.
Depends on if Mom will be able to drive after release from the hospital.
This is the car I was putting together for her.
Has four new tires.
Spitfire 1500 is a bit of a project but very rust-free with title.
Drove it home after purchase.
Has a factory hard top that needs restoration.
Plan was to rebuild an engine for it, I have two that run as they are but should be freshened.
Single 40 DCOE intake, headers.
Have more than one trans, one is an OD trans.
NOT parting out.
Tatum two-place "Crusader" molds and trick drive-train parts.
G13B 1.3 twin-cam engine and Porsche 901 transmission.
The 1.3 is lighter than a VW engine, makes twice the power, and carries an extra 2,000 RPM.
The 901 trans can be reversed and is a five speed. The 1.3 will not strain it.
This one is hard to sell, not going cheap and not parting out.
I actually own the production rights to these bodies as I bought them from Chuck Tatum.
Chuck only built two of these before the '74 oil embargo.
Message for pics, too much to post here.
Look at my Garage for pics of some of these.
Please limit the snide comments, I'm not in the mood for them.
