Diesel powered!
Different, but I'd rather have Curtis's Duramax-powered '65 Catalina. But then again I have a thing for mid-'60s Ponchos.
I always liked the idea of giant american car with a diesel, but now I know that the interior needs to look oringinal for me to like it.
Is it the camera angle or does the position of the rear wheel in the wheel well look too far forward?

Give me a frikkin ball pein hammer. I hate those cars.
Well
I normally can't see the point of Diesel conversions, it seems pointless in this country where they still give gas away so cheaply (even at $4/gal) but this..this..intrigues me. It looks like it could be a lot of fun. He claims 500hp, is that even remotely realistic? I can easily believe 500lb/ft, but if he's really getting 500hp who the hell much torque has he got, enough to reverse the direction of the earth with decent tires I guess.
In reply to Adrian_Thompson:
500HP from a 12V Cummins is pretty easy with simple bolt-on stuff, so while I'd like to see dyno sheets it is quite realistic. Even twice that with a 12V is a well traveled path.

That just means it will weigh about the same as the current model of Taurus.
