I swear, my dad finds the weirdest things for sale over on Facebook Marketplace.
I'm not sure how this wood-paneled 325xi makes me feel.

Ford dealer got ahold of it at some point in it's life? Reminds me of all the "landau roofs" dealers used to put on almost anything.
Here is a fine example

I think I have to agree. I feel like I shouldn't like this, but I do.
I do like country squires, and it actually looks better than I expected. However, I cannot decide if this is genius or madness. I would probably drive it, but my wife would not want to be seen in it. I also think, it might look better without the fake wood on the headlights.
For some reason I feel like it needs silver painted tire rack steelies.
Or some other subtle retro vibe wheels.
There is a Chevy Astro Van around here with the same idea ,
i have never seen it parked , when I do I will take some pictures for the hive
I like it. For me, what makes it work is the detailed light wood around the dark wood. The tailgate lacks this detail. I am almost wondering if it may have been better to just not do the rear if there was not a way to do it with the light trim.
Awwww man, our son just got terminated due to Covid, if I had the resources I'd scoop that up so he can terminate his wife's car lease!
He does live in Connecticut ....
It'd be a much better driver than the woody Dodge Diplomat wagon I've always (inexplicably) wanted.
EDIT: (What sort of crazy effects are left by being a kid in the '70s? I mean, seriously, I imprinted on *that*!? WTB?)
