Hello!
Looking for a decent 80s Turbo Mopar shell as a potential future challenge car. I would like something with a relatively nice body and interior, which is asking a lot! I uncovered a turbo 2.5 engine and trans combo, we pulled about 10 years ago and forgot about. I'll go through that and install it whatever car we turn up, so mechanical state is less important.
I am in central IN so the closer the better!
Thanks!

Sweet. Sounds like you're finally going to use that turbo we traded back and forth
WTB 80s Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth Car or Minivan
A statement you will only ever see on GRM...
Do you know george (minivanracer)? You might send him a pm and see if he knows about any hiding
Maybe Prof Brap would have a line on something.
I've literally not seen one in years! They must be all gone by now, although I bet there's a couple hiding in old folks garages in Michigan somewhere.
My neighbor used to have an 80s Aerostat with a Voinovich for governor sticker on it but that was sold a couple of years ago and is obviously a non-MOPAR POS.
I am thinking about letting go my blue base Omni. Body is decent. One door has some weird rot. I also know of a few others for sale.

Yea, that is part of the plan! It's strange, I keep getting all these signs to build one of these again, and that was one of them!
To find one you'll need to go west as they've all rusted away in the rust prone areas.
I know of a few around the PNW area.

I actually gave him a bunch of Turbo Mopar stuff a few years ago when I moved! I'll have to check with him!

That car is a HUGE pile. Check out front strut tops. He won't send pics of frame pics.

This car drives amazingly wel and is stupid fast. It spent most of its life in Alabama and was stored in a garage during the winters in PA. The frame is solid and while the car has a few rough spots, it's not a pile of junk by and means.
What you don't see in the photos are custom Konis up front that were done right and a motor that starts right up with plenty of boost. The car made it from Huntsville to Pennsylvania without issue.

Interior is gone, though. Not what garaithon wants.

Yea, that one is a little on the rougher side. I'm looking more on the side of "grandma's last car." I have a C5 to go stupid fast in!
I'm doing this more for nostalgia, than outright speed or sanity. I want a nice cruiser with some hustle!
