So way back in the day like 1984 I spent two weeks in Haiti. One of the memories that really sticks with me was a bunch of Vespa type scooters running around. What I really liked about them was they were hand painted by their owners with cool decorations. I'd love to have one now. I've also noticed on YouTube that a lot of the Pakistani videos show vehicles decorated similarly. Long shot but anyone have any connections? Know how I can import one? Have one already that you want to sell?
Is this your style? Picture off the web.

That actually looks more professionally done than what I remember but yeah I'd rock that.
Rather than importing a scooter, it may be a lot more practical to find an imported Haitian or Pakistani to paint a USDM scooter. Just sayin.

Where's the fun in that?

Similar designs in other southeast Asian countries as well. Remember the trucks from the Top Gear where they built a bridge over the river?
Not enough lights or mirrors.

How worn out would a Vespa from Pakistan or Haiti be ?
remember Top Gear and the Vietnam ride and all the work on the Vespa.
I love the idea , and knowing nothing about Vespas , could you just buy the replacement sheet metal and have that painted and shipped ?
and maybe order a side car at the same time !

Maybe you should buy some paint brushes...
With enough alcohol, the opportunities are limitless.
