I thought something else. My B-I-Law was a 25+ year union guy and took his 4 weeks of vacation in January. Then during the year when stuff came up he had to call in. Then they let him go for attendance issues.

I did similar when I was an Airman in Korea. I took my 30 days of leave and partied it away staying in Korea. Amazing only thing bad that happened was I broke my wrist running from the SPs. But I did get away.
Uh, I didn't think old camper shells are worth ANY money. They come up for free quite often. Guess I was wrong?
Yup, nothing like "camping" in the right emergency lane after your vintage truck died and/or your vintage trailer shucked a tire/wheel assembly.
Honestly, with about $30k invested in refreshing it all, you could have a pretty reliable way to have a miserable time driving to the lake and popping in a portable bucket with a door and sleeping on a piece of foam.

Not 100% sure why but I had a 1963 Glaspar Avalon that also steered from the wrong side. They came in both left and right hand drive configurations. Wish I hadn't gotten rid of it.
