A beautiful example of a restored Mk 1 Mini. ( VIN # AA2S7L43248 ) This 1961 Austin Mini has been restored from the subframe up. With engine and subframe removed, the car was taken down to bare metal, repaired as needed, acid etched, primed, and painted with a base coat, clear coat in its original Tartan Red. Chrome and rubber has been replaced as needed.

It has twin leading front shoes with Minifin drums; all wheel cyclinders, shoes, brake lines, and master cylinders have been replaced. The engine is an Austin 1098 cc with twin SU carburaters, and K & N filters. It has a stage I exhaust system and twin gas tanks for long distance driving. The doors have been removed and rebuilt. No detail has lacked attention. With 47820 miles on the clock, it has been driven less than 500 miles since restoration.

The car is an original Left Hand Drive. It starts well, drives well, and stops well. His name is Reggie. :-)

The car is priced at $25,600, under market value for a Mark 1 of this caliber.
