This is a really nice, well upgraded and restored TR6. The long term previous owner has invoices dating back to 2003. It was repainted in Regency Red and the black canvas convertible top and boot, as well as the carpet and dashboard were replaced in 2014. It has some really well chosen upgrades. An aluminum radiator helps to keep it cool, Pertronix electronic ignition system, aluminum finned valve cover, Cibie H4 headlights, LED turn signal and taillight bulbs and dash bulbs, Talbot style dual rear view mirrors, exhaust headers with dual outlet quad-tip Monza exhaust system. It is very strong and with a slightly lopey idle, it is reportedly rebuilt to a higher spec, but there is no paperwork. It also has polyurethane rear differential bushings, bolstere Miata seats, Moto Lita wood steering wheel.
It has received lots of maintenance over the years. Very recently it got a new alternator and engine bay to dash wiring harness, and a mild tune-up. It has five brand new Goodyear tires (less than 500 miles and just a few months old). Battery is recent. The car starts easily, and runs great (as mentioned - it feels stronger than normal), handles very well, and it looks great - lots of compliments. Lots of spare parts included, as well as a manual, wiring diagrams, etc. All in the photos Negatives - it has a paint blemish on the hood that should polish out, and a few fisheyes in the horizontal panel behind the convertible top. Hagerty lists a #2 condition at $33,000 - and I feel this is a strong #2.
