Pros: New top, struts, radiator, water pump, shock tower strut, Bosch rotors and pads. Full synthetic oil, transmission fluid, differential fluid. Had AC rebuilt last fall, works well. Has Michelin Pilot Sports with tons of tread. Shift linkage rebuilt. Just replaced front control arms and upgraded to Garagistic Delrin bushing. Four wheel alignment completed. Newer top, no leaks. Rear subframe welds are perfect (look it up). Runs strong with that lovely BMW wail. 2.8 liter, 5 speed. 157,348 miles. Spare tire and tools are all there. Does not burn or leak oil.
Cons: needs a repaint. Hood and trunk have sun damage, but absolutely no rust. Some photos of the hood have plasti dip, but I recently removed it. See the last photo. Selling it to purchase an NB Miata. Willing to trade for that.
Interior is clean and non-stinky. Driver's seat has several tears patched with leather tape. Have Jax racing seat in passenger position (lost 8
0 lbs by removing it). While the cosmetics leave a little to be desired, I have put the money in the mechanicals. If you want a car to drive and enjoy every day, a good candidate. If looks are important, it will definitely need a repaint. Full disclosure. I have way more in parts and repairs than I am asking for the car. Just time for a change.
