Just wrote up a blog on ugly classic cars. Thought it would be fun to throw out to you guys for comments. That being said, my last post was similar to this and it was deleted (I'm assuming) as spam. Give the blog a read, let me know your thoughts. We shall see if it stays up or not - vintageandclassiccar.blogspot.com
You need to do your homework again on the Volvo 1800.
Is crack free around the office, half of them look awesome?

Uh. (Charger? 510? Shelby?) ...and I didn't even mentioned the Abarth, I admit I knew nothing about them/him before this car.

Ha ha, well feedback is good, thanks MNDSM for the + vote! Sometimes I write these things and no one says anything; boring!! The only comment that was kind of a detailed argument though was the 1800 homework statement. Did I get something factual wrong about what the Volvo is Sine?

Ha ha you're right. It's even smaller! Dang. I thought they had a six and that's why I kind of wanted one.

Ugly but awesome! Yeah, it doesn't have any really good lines. It looks totally functional. The color is nice but I doubt it was that shiny in period. But don't get me wrong. The blog is Ugly but Awesome, not ugly and terrible. I just don't think Allard did any real design work. I think he just made the body fit. And it's great, but not pretty.
All I can say is, you and I have very different opinions about what makes for an ugly car. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Perhaps this would be more appealing to you:
Well, you were kind of close on a couple of them...
You need to find a new job.

I have two very ugly cars... I love them. Yes, that would probably be me.

Ha ha, "a new job". Yeah, no one pays me to write these! Surprised?

I agree with several, but not all of your choices. The PL-510 certainly isn't ugly. Nor have I ever heard the P-1800 described that way either.
I would add the Road Runners, despite the fact I owned a '69 440-Six Pack. However the Super Bee and Super Birds with those huge wings are an insult to my eyes. Though they were fast enough to get almost instantly banned & are now priced like at comparable costs to a new Porsche Turbo.
That's like a joke thread or just a "place holder" in the web site to fill the hole until the real writer steps in.
I was actually looking forward to some decent auto journalism, not a stupid piece of crap like that.

That's a little harsh, don't you think? We are all entitled to our own opinions.
So a Charger, Shelby Cobra and Datsun 510....incorrect list is incorrect. I think you may need a new prescription for glasses. There were a lot of historically ugly cars.....none on your list though, a lot were very pretty, I know its your opinion and such, but what do you consider a pretty car?? Toyota Camry, Honda Odyssey.....Pontiac Aztek??
The problem with any 10 best or 10 worst list is they are always based on the writer's personal opinion. They don't really define anything, they're just meant to get a rise out of others.
